"It was the power I needed for my life.  I gave up on myself a long time ago and quit trying to work toward a future.  I was working to get by.  I now know I can achieve my dreams if I work hard, make the right connections & present myself in a positive way.  I thank SOS for all this power and knowledge.  It is a life gift that I will never forget." ~ Amy from Soup of Success

Due to our January 29 & 30 Haiti Relief shopping days, Global Gifts was able to donate $784.40 in support of earthquake relief.  Thank you to all who helped make it possible.

(Johnson  & Gisele, from Haiti, visited the US in 2007.  Gisele runs Comite Artisanal Haitien (CAH), a nonprofit organization that helps Haitian artisans export their work through Fair Trade and sell at the local tourist markets.  Gisele has reported she is ok and she is still checking to learn the status of  CAH artisans.
